Beijing Yan State Capital Site of the Western Zhou Dynasty
Located at Dongjialin Village, Liulihe Town, Fangshan District, Yan State Capital Site of the Western Zhou Dynasty is distributed over the terraces of Dashi River. It is a national cultural heritage under special protection.

Having the richest remains of historical and cultural interest among contemporary ruins in China, the site reveals the state and culture of Beijing City over 3000 years ago when it was just founded. A number of imperial bronzes and lots of fine pottery, jade, stone, lacquer and agate ware have been unearthed in the site. It is called 'the Source of Beijing City'.

Museum of the Yan State Capital Site of the Western Zhou Dynasty, located at tomb area, is an archaeological museum in combination of ancient cultural site and cultural relic exhibition, mainly displaying the city wall of the capital and the cultural relics unearthed from nobles' tombs. Museum building is a Tang-style pavilion-type structure, consisting of exhibition hall, cultural relic storeroom, tomb zone and chariot pit. There are potteries, bronzes, celadon porcelains, jades, lacquers, stones, etc on display, including the largest bronze vessel found in Beijing and other treasures.
