5 Days Guilin Hiking Tour

• Day1

  Arrival in Guilin

  Our guide will meet you at Guilin airport and drive you directly to the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Have a rest at the hotel.
• Day2

  Guilin to Yangshuo: Raft ride from Yangdi to Nine Horse Mural Hill (Jiumahuashan), Hike along the Li River from Nine Horse Mural Hill to Xingpin

  After breakfast drive to Yangdi, a fishing village on the Li River. In Yangdi village we will take a raft ride from Yangdi to Nine Horse Mural Hill (Jiumahuashan), and then hike from Nine Horse Mural Hill to Xingping.
  The raft trip from Yangdi to Nine Horse Mural Hill usually takes 1 to 1.5 hours. During the cruise we will see many beautifully shaped limestone hills; luckily we will also see buffaloes in the water and restful cormorants... Upon arrival in Nine Horse Mural Hill, we will hike along the river to enjoy beautiful landscapes, and the hike will last about 1 hour.
  In Xingping Village, we will visit this ancient thousand-year-old village. So far, the village remains intact as before, with numerous ancient bridges, ferries, pavilions, theaters, temples, trees and villages. The main tourist attractions include Xingping Ancient Street, Ancient City Wall, Guan Yu's Temple and Ancient Ferry.
  Lastly we will continue driving to Yangshuo and overnight in Yangshuo.
• Day3

  Yangshuo: Bamboo Raft in the Yulong River, Cycle in Yangshuo Countryside, Moon Hill

  Yangshuo is known for its natural landscapes, and today is a discovery in Yangshuo. In the morning we will cycle in the Yangshuo countryside and visit a local family. On the way we see rice fields, mandarin trees and buffaloes.
  Then take a bamboo raft on Yulong River, which will last about 1.5 hours. The Yulong River is influence of the Li River and known for its beautiful forms of limestone collies and clear water. Have a lunch in a local restaurant near the moon hill. Climb to the moon hill to admire a beautiful panoramic landscape on the hills of Yangshuo.
• Day4

  Yangshuo to Longsheng, Longji Rice Terraces, Old Zhuang Village

  • in Longsheng
  After breakfast we will drive from Yangshuo to Longsheng. Longsheng is known for its terraced rice fields. In Longsheng you can see not only rice fields, but also typical villages of ethnic minorities.
  The old Zhuang village has a history of a few hundred years. It is a site recently opened to the public. Here, tourists can also appreciate melodious folk songs, mellow wine, colorful ethnic costumes and unique folk customs.
  In the evening, you will sleep in the Ping'an village in Longsheng.
• Day5

  Hiking in Dazhai Village, Longhseng to Guilin, Guilin Departure

  • Breakfast, Lunch
  After breakfast we will drive you from Ping’an village to Dazhai Village. Our guide will lead you to hike 2-3hs to get to the viewpoint. Owing to the terraced fields spiraled round the hills, the small hills look like snails, and the big ones like pagodas. During the way you can talk with the farmers who are working in the fields.
  In the afternoon we will return to Guilin. Transfer you to the airport or train station.

•     About Your Meals 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.

You will have a private guide, private driver and an air-conditioned vehicle to accompany you at each destination of your trip, which will provide you with maximum personal care, security and flexibility.
All our guides are qualified and responsible professionals. All our vehicles are clean and in excellent condition, crewed with licensed drivers.

In each city, we have a professional local guide. Our guide picks you up punctually at your arrival from the airport/railway station/spring of each destination. On your way out of that city, your guide will stay by your side until you have checked in and passed through security. All our travel guides in each destination are local and responsible, who know this area well. They accompany you visiting this city during 8 working hours of each day and they will tell background stories of the tourist places, and show you the secret places to take your best pictures.
When it is necessary to change your itinerary for unexpected reasons, your private travel guide will suggest alternatives to ensure that you still have an excellent experience.

Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
