  Guilin: Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, Seven Star Park, Reed Flute Cave

  Our guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at appointed time and take you to visit today’s first site- Seven Stars Park. Situated at the eastern bank of the Lijiang River, Qixing Park is the largest comprehensive one in Guilin City, and consists of Qixingyan, Tianxuan, Tianji, Tianquan Peaks, and Yuheng, Caiyang, and Yaoguang Peaks of Yueya Mountain. Because the seven peaks are arranged like Big Dipper, the park is named after their shape. In addition, there are attractions at the park such as Beidouqix-ing (Big Dipper), Tuofengchixia (Hump-like Rosy Clouds), and Yueyahongying (Crescent Light and Rainbow Glow). As for Qixingyan, it is also called Qixia Cave and Bixu Rock.

  Continue your visit to Fubo Hill, with half part projecting into the Li River and the other half on the land. Along the stone stairway in the west, tourists may ascend the Halfway Pavilion and the mountaintop, from which one can overlook the picturesque landscapes of Guilin.

  Then visit Reed Flute Cave, which is a spectacular karst cavern, 240 meters deep. Lined along its 500 meters long zigzag road are stalactites and stalagmites of the most striking colors, in the shape of bamboo shoots, pillars, curtains and flowers. There are more than 30 scenic sights in the karst cavern, such as "Crystal Palace", “Lion Forest Facing the Sun, and Primitive Forests.”

  Finally, visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, a symbol of Guilin that was taken as the design of the city's emblem. This 55-metre hill looks like a giant elephant plunging its trunk into the river as if it wanted to drink. 

  After tour we will transfer you back to your hotel.

In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.

On your way out of that city, your guide will stay by your side until you have checked in and passed through security. All our travel guides in each destination are local and responsible, who know this area well. They accompany you visiting this city during 8 working hours of each day and they will tell background stories of the tourist places, and show you the secret places to take your best pictures.
