    Hangzhou: West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Meijiawu Tea Village, Six Harmonies Pagoda

    After breakfast you guide will wait for you at the lobby of your hotel and begin today´s visit in Hangzhou.
    First you will have a boat ride in the West Lake. Enclosed by hills on three sides, West Lake mirrors the surrounding landscape to form a panorama of great beauty. It covers 1,235 acres (500 ha.) with a shoreline of 9 mi. (15 km). Luxurious trees and flowers grow around the lake. It has been a scenic resort since the Tang Dynasty (618-907 A. D.). The Su and Bai Causeways divide the lake into three parts.
    Then continue to Lingyin Temple. Facing Cool Spring(Lengquan), Lingyin Temple (Temple of the Soul's Retreat) often referred to as Lingyin Temple, stands at the foot of Lingyin Hill northwest of West Lake Built more than 1, 6oo years ago, it is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China; its major buildings are Hall of the Four Heavenly Kings (Tianmangdian) and the Grand Hall. In the centre of the Grand Hall which is 33.6 metres high and roofed with glazed tiles, is a gilded ine-metre-high statue of Sakyamuni sitting on terrace shaped like a lotus flower. In front of him stands a statue of Maitreya and behind him a statue of skanda. Buddha's four warrior attendants and other and goddesses line the two sides of Sakyamuni. Ancient trees e in front of the temple, and a number of pavilions(such as Spring Stream, Gully Thunder and Cold Spring) are built around the Cool Spring.
    Meijiawu Tea Village is famous for its history of serving exquisite tea. This picturesque village will allow you to experience a perfect cup of tea, see various tea ceremonies (very elaborate very sophisticated) and most interesting tea selection under the supervision of professionals.
    Six Harmonies Pagoda is last destination, which was built in 970 A D. and rises high over forested hills to a height of 198 ft (58.8 m). It is constructed with thirteen stories on the outside and seven on the inside. From here one will have a good view of the river meandering far into the distance. The grounds are carefully tended and have been planted with flowers which bloom all year round.
    After tour we will transfer you back to your hotel.

In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.

On your way out of that city, your guide will stay by your side until you have checked in and passed through security. All our travel guides in each destination are local and responsible, who know this area well. When it is necessary to change your itinerary for unexpected reasons, your private travel guide will suggest alternatives to ensure that you still have an excellent experience.

Private Transfer

Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
