8:30 -9:00 AM Hotel Pick Up and Driving to Zhujiajiao
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel at about 8:30-9:00a.m. We will go to visit the Zhujiajiao Water village at first, and it usually takes 1 hour driving from Shanghai to Zhujiajiao.
10:00 - 11:30 AM Visit Zhujiajiao Water Town
Famous as Venice in Shanghai, Zhujiajiao is an intact ancient waterside town in Shanghai, which has a history of about 400 years. You can see typical houses, narrow streets, canals etc. We take a short cruise to discover the charm of the village by small boat.
11:30 – 12:30 PM Have Lunch
We will have a good lunch in a restaurant which has an excellent waterway view.
12:30 – 4:00 PM Visit Shanghai World Financial Center
In the afternoon, we will go up the 100th floor of World Financial Center to have a bird’s eye of panoramic views of the city. Shanghai World Financial Center is a super high skyscraper in Pudong, Shanghai. It is a multi-function skyscraper consisting of offices, hotels, conference rooms, viewpoints and shopping malls. It opened in September 2007 with a height of 492 meters (1,614.2 feet) and is the second tallest building in the Shanghai.
4:00 – 5:00 PM Visit the Bund
The Bund is our next destination. The famous Bund of Shanghai is the place where tourists and travelers to Shanghai are sure to visit. It stretches one and a half kilometers from Garden Bridge or Waibaidu Bridge in the north to East Jinling Road in the south, and has been regarded as a symbol of Shanghai.
The Bund is situated at the juncture of the Wusong River(now called Suzhou Creek) and the Huangpu River. Since water and land communication is convenient, this place has always been a hub of communications for north-south sea traffic, and it has been an important commercial center of China for several centuries. The Bund today throbs with life and activity. Everywhere one can see signs of growing prosperity.
