Most flights arrive in Zhangjiajie at night. Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in the city for a good rest.
After breakfast, have a day tour in Wulingyuan Scenic Area, 20 minutes’ drive from hotel in Wulingyuan district to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
First take the cable car to Pueblo Huangshi, which is 1080 meters above sea level. It is the largest tourism platform to see the spectacular landscape in the national park. Then explore the famous Jinbian v (Golden Whip Stream) which runs a distance of 7.5 km. It is titled as the most beautiful valley in the world.
Yangjiajie is a relatively new jewel discovered in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, with pristine beauty and fewer travellers. It is a small adventure, climbing steep and narrow steps to see the breathtaking scenery. In addition to taking a cable car up and down, you'll have to climb the mountain for an hour on narrow trails.
Tianzi Mountain area - it has rocky peaks in grotesque shapes and is enveloped in accumulated fog. Observation platforms allow you to see the landscape at different angles.
Yuanjiajie is one of the must-see places in Zhangjiajie, whose mountains are said to be the inspiration for Avatar's Hallelujah Mountain. You have the opportunity to take the Bailong Elevator - the highest outdoor elevator in the world.
In the morning you have a half day trip to Tianmen Mountain whose name means gateway to heaven, which is famous for Tianmen Cave. To get to Tianmen Cave (a natural hole 131.5 meters high and 30 meters wide, formed naturally in the mountain), you first need to take one of the longest cable cars in the world. Then you can take a tour of several trails, including impressive glass balconies on which you can walk along the mountain shores, and take a free bus on the incredible Tongtian Avenue, a 99-curved mountain road. But that's not all: you finally have to climb the 999 steps before you reach the cave.
In the afternoon after lunch, your guide will take you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
