  Arrival in Lhasa

  Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, your local guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa. After check-in, it is better to rest at your hotel to adjust to the altitude.
• Day2

  Potala Palace, Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple

  Your visit today begins with the Potala Palace, the winter palace of Dalai Lamas, the governing center of the Tibetan feudalism regime controlling both politics and religion, the biggest and extant castle-type complex in China, and the essence of ancient Tibetan architectural arts.
  Jokhang Temple is a four-story temple with a golden roof surrounded by Barkhor Street and crowded with pilgrims and visitors. The temple first built up in the mid-seventh century, and then extended and rehabilitated in later dynasties. The temple is a grand place, seated in the east and the gate opened to the west, having integrated multiple architectural fashions like Han, Tibet, Indian and Nepal.
  Many people call the Barkhor "the window of Tibet" which exhibits typical Tibetan life. The pilgrims, dressed in their local from many parts of Tibet, revolve around the temple clockwise.

  Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Norbulingka

  Today we will start at the Monastery of Sera, one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, where the "famous daily debates" of monks takes place. Sera means "wild rose" in Tibetan language. The monastery is dedicated to the Gelugpa Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism, and is famous for debates on Buddhist doctrines. There are preserved nearly 10,000 Buddhist statues, while the main hall and Buddhist chambers house a number of exquisite murals.

  Located on the western outskirts of Lhasa, Norbulingka was originally built in the middle period of the 18th century as the summer palace for the Dalai Lamas. It was also the place where they handled political affairs and held religious activities.

  Drepung Monastery was first built up in the 14th year of Yongle Reign in Ming Dynasty (1416). It is one Gelug Sect temple, which was constructed making use of the mountainous landforms. The eaves are connected and the towers stand erect, marvelously and splendidly. In its peak time, the temple had more than ten thousand monks.
• Day4

  Namtso Lake and Yangpachen

  After breakfast, begin your trip today to Lake Namtso, about 250 km northwest of Lhasa (paved road) and Yangpachen. Namtso Lake means "Holy Lake" in Tibetan language, situated in the northwestern mountainous area of Damxung County in Lhasa. It is one of the Three Holy Lakes in Tibet, the second largest salt water lake in China. There are five islands in the lake, and the grassland around the lake is a quality natural grazing land. Flocks of wild gooses are swimming in the lake, and fine-scale or scale-less fishes are growing many. The scenery of Namtso is glorious.
  Yangpachen is famous for its hot springs and is a good choice for those who want to take a close look at Tibetan shepherds (drokpa) and their semi-nomadic lifestyle.

Remarks 
•  Tibet Tourism Bureau Permit (TTB) should be applied 12 working days in advance before the date of your trip de Tibet. If you couldn't provide the required documents on time, an extra handling fee will be charged.
•  Due to the special nature of Tibet, if any unforeseen cases occur beyond our control, such as war, fire, epidemics, health risks, hurricanes, terrorism and other current or potential severe weather conditions, government action, major traffic jams, delay or cancellation of flight/train, attractions temporarily closed. etc., we will have to change your itinerary, and in this case, we will calculate and charge/refund any increase or reduction in travel costs accordingly.
